It's used as a safety device to keeps lights from falling on your head, which is usually a big drag for everybody. It's well manufactured. Black color as an option would be nice.

As a lighting designer, I'm used to a heavier weight safety cable. These are lighter than I usually expect, but function just fine. I would probably not use them on very heavy fixtures, but I'm fine with using them on PAR cans, fresnels and ellipsoidals. I'm doubling them on Clay Paky Golden Scans and Combi Color 300's.
