Comments about Taylor Guitars Taylor GC3 Sapele/Sitka GC Acoustic Guitar:
I was looking for a good lap fingerstyle guitar and the taylor gc3 is just that, if your looking for a guitar in this price range. Remember this isn't a hard rock or hard country strumming guitar. A pick will never touch my gc3,fingers only. I have other guitars for the other stuff. The quality is top notch, the sound is great experiment with different types of strings to see what fits your personality. It usually takes me a little while to get comfortable with a new guitar, althought the gc3 felt right the first time I played it. The low E string can slip off the neck if not approached correctly but it helps improve your accuracy. I switched to d'addario light strings and it seemed to help. If your looking for a good lap fingerstyle guitar and you only have about 1000 bucks you will want this guitar. [...]
