This is a good quality product for basic performances. It may not be big enough for all stages but works great with bar stages as well as wedding set ups. It is light weight and easy to set up. It has lock pins and sturdy construction which is most important when hanging thousands of dollars on it. You can use it as the full truss and T-bar set up, just stand and T-bar, or as speaker stands. I recommend a carry bag as it is big. Although it is not too bulky and actually breaks down very well. I'm happy I bought it.

I bought this product with the knowledge I was going to have a number of lights attached to the Truss. The problam is that it takes 2 people to hike the truss up once all the lights are attached. It is very time consuming when there are more important reasons to spend the extra time you will save getting a different Truss. If you consider using this product knowing you are going to attach lights with some weight than I would suggest the Truss with a crank.

For the amount I paid, I wasn't expecting nearly what I got. Very sturdy, built with quality materials. If you're going to be hanging lights on one side vs. the bottom - expect to use counter balance weights / sandbags to give it some good solid base weight.

Good prouduct. I would recommend that you make it easier to find the right bag to carry the poles in. I ordered one as suggested to me and it is to short. These poles are a little longer than the normal light poles. I would recommend to my friends or those needing a cost effective set-up.

I have been working with this system for a while now, and it has its high points and low points. It is a really good value (good price) and is pretty reliable. I mostly use it for smaller events because of it's size. Also, the holes and Nuts/Bolts that go into the holes on the I truss are GREAT! I use them all the time and they are one of the few things you don't find often that come in very handy in a pinch. However, There are some major cons to consider though. If you are not experienced with rigging or have just started using truss, go slow and be careful with weight distribution with this product!!! It can hold the weight rating just fine as long as the load is EVENLY DISTRIBUTED VERY CAREFULLY.
The Main problem I have with this system is that the fasteners and connectors are made of plastic instead of metal, and so they do slip sometimes, especially if the load hasn't been evenly distributed (sometimes even before raising it when rigging the lights it will slip a bit because there's only a light on 1 side and none on the other yet). Now, when I say slip, I'm talking about the connectors that connect the 2 5ft spans of I truss suddenly sink down so that the cross bar is more a V shaped dip rather than a straight - bar. I have cranked down the fasteners as tight as they will go and they still don't hold straight across (and my rig I use it with is usually only around 60LBS!). So while it is a great deal, it does have a draw back.
Also, with the new intelligent lighting out there, keep in mind expansion to a bigger system too (cause we all always want more gear) so this system may not support that (I truss in general doesn't always work with the larger intelligent lights). Be mindful that as your lighting collection expands, the last thing you will likely expand is the thing you MOUNT your lights TO and so you should really purchase with your future lighting needs in mind, not just your present ones!!! The last thing you need is a fancy new light that you can't mount on your system because of size, weight, mounting style, or number of other more needed fixtures!
My advice is that if you buy this product, you mount your 2 heaviest lights first as close to each tripod as you can for stability and work your way in. Also, get to know your system inside and out, it's worth it.
Overall it is a GOOD product but has drawbacks you should be very mindful of! Take the time to weigh all of your options (and in this case all of your gear too!)! Good Luck!

This is a great product if you're a mobile Dj or simply an owner of a small to medium sized club. The truss stand is very strong and can hold up a 120 kid (I've tried it). I am a mobile Dj and I used it several times during the gigs. Overall people have given me excellent reviews with this setup and this is one of the best investments I have ever made. This is a must buy.

This is a good starter kit for mobile dj's. The middle connector piece does not connect the two pieces sufficiently, and requires some additional metal shop engineering. Also, without the crank ability it requires two people to lift the system up.(This isn't always easy, even with two people)
