I purchased two TXD 118 a few years back. I only use them for weddings. Mounted above them I use Yorkville NX 35s. The TurboSound TXD-118s are over rated for the money. They are nearly [$] for a 600 watt program passive 18 inch sub. I have found the Yorkville LS608,rated at 800 watts program, for less money is a far better speaker. I tried to replace the driver in the TurboSound TXD 118s. I contacted Turbo Sound in England, who quoted [$] for a new driver [...] !! Unacceptable......I will do business with Yorkville without hestitation.

They are great I use them in live concerts and can't complain better than Cerwin Vega anytime and real light weight!

I own these and they are great speakers, especially for someone who plays solo and has back problems - they're only 61 lbs each! Great fidelity and very good power handling and volume.
