The Ultrasone DJ1 phones offer closed back professional performance with S-Logic natural surround sound. This way the sound is no longer locked in, but appears broad and detached. Directions and distances can be heard and perceived much like being in a live concert. The DJ1 phones are easy on the ears allowing up to 40% lower dB output (3-4 dB) for the same loudness sensation, thereby reducing the risk of hearing defects. With the efficient 50 mm mylar electro acoustical?drivers these headphones are especially designed for DJs. As a result of the high efficiency they produce an impressive sound pressure even with a high environmental sound intensity. Thanks to the closed construction, external noise is suppressed.
You can fold back and up the individual earpiece without having to remove the headphones from your head. This folding mechanism allows the the headphones to be compactly stored and easily transported in a suitcase. Like all Ultrasone headphones, the DJ1 has a strongly reduced radiation. The standard version LE (= Low Emission) offers a reduction of?up to 60% in comparison with ordinary headphones.

Comments about Ultrasone DJ1 Stereo DJ Headphone With S-Logic:
Well I do not own these but a Friend of mine had these at a gig when my cable snagged and snapped, clearly I was desperate and I used his Dj1's it took getting used to but after five minutes I was lost in the strange surrounding sound that I have never gotten out of a pair of cans before, they felt great and look nice to, the picture should be updated though, the picture here is of the older ones that are discontinued, I personally like the new design better, but man as soon as i get the money I am buying these, the bass was tight, the treble was dot on, perfect for djing.
