Vestax has developed a special circuitry to control cut lag space digitally. A "cut lag space" is defined as the end point of the cross fader, where there's a little gap that doesn?t play out sounds. The CF-CC allows you to set both left and right cut lag spaces individually; depending on which hand you work with the most, or to your personal preference.
The fader is able to adjust via dials, the cut-in time from the fader at OFF sound to when the fader is ON. It is a very small area of focus, but this is where the demand is and why DJs are in search for the sharpest fader on the market. This new technology will allow both Scratch and Mix DJs be able to perform thier style and suit their genre of music. If you?re using one of the supported Vestax mixers, regardless of whether you have a Penny and Giles or not, you owe it to yourself to upgrade to the Vestax CF-CC.

I am a scratch and mix DJ. This crossfader actually allows you to adjust the point where the sound comes in. I have it adjusted to where the sound comes in right before the cut off point, and it is hard to believe that the crossfader actually cuts off when closed. When the crossfader is barely moved, the sound comes in, allowing me to perform amazingly fast crab scratches. It is also crystal clear and clean. It is the best crossfader that I have ever had, and I would recommend it to any DJ.

This fader is definitely the best crossfader i've ever used. I've tested many mixers with mulitiple faders from the pro-x, focus, even the new ecler faders which it definitely is comparable to. Very versatile with the adjustable cut in dials on the inside gives you the versatility to change fader settings on the fly all you need is a screwdriver. The cut in time is just SICK literally a line switch embedded in a fader. I've found a new zest for scratching and will be scratching every day from now on. You will get more clicks and cuts on this fader. Very sturdy mixer does not feel flimsy GREAT INVESTMENT FOR THE SCRATCH NERD!
