Improving on a venerable favorite, the Vestax PMC-05ProIII offers a stereo effects send and return, PLUS an award-winning PCV crossfader. Each input channel features a 2-band EQ and an assignable effects send/return. On the input side, the PMC-05ProIII offers two line inputs and two phono inputs, both on RCA connectors, plus two microphone inputs on 1/4" jacks. An unbalanced RCA effects return is also provided. Outputs include RCA line-level Master 1 and 2, a 1/4" headphone output and an unbalanced RCA effects send.
The stereo effects loop has gain controls on the sends and returns. Each PGM has a dedicated on/off switch for the effect send. Because of Vestax's attention to detail this one simple feature can be used to achieve five different functions. You can add an effect processor to either or both of the PGMs. The SEND can be used as a booth/monitor output. The RCV can be an additional line input that leaves PGM 1 and 2 free. You can use the session input for battle performances. And you have individual PGM sends for tracking and recording.
The PMC-05ProIII now comes stock with the heavy duty performance switches that used to be an expensive optional upgrade on the PMC-05ProII. These switches are much stronger and more durable for DJs who like to transform using the input switches. Part number IS05PRO2 is still available for DJs who would like to install these switches on their PMC-05ProII or PMC-07Pro models. The PMC-05ProIII also has an improved Cue section. You now can monitor either the master output or a desired PGM. This is a great feature for the meticulous DJ who is concerned about his levels when making mixed tapes or CDs. This will allow them to hear exactly what is being sent out the master to be recording device. Another improvement made on the PMC-05ProIII is a larger EQ sweep on the bass frequencies. The low frequencies can now be cut by ?24dB and a boost of 12dB. The PMC-05ProII only offered a 12dB cut with a 12dB boost.
Vestax has introduced a new knob design that will be on all new mixers. It is a sleeker knob that is easier to grip and has a much better look. The PMC-05ProIII also boasts a cool silver faceplate instead of the gold faceplate that was on the PMC-05ProII. The silver faceplate, like the gold, is completely smooth with no screws anywhere near any of the faders that could cut up a ?Performance? DJs hands. The cue cross fader has also been moved 2? higher to increase the battle zone area for the DJ.Features:
- Effects routing options on both PGM1 & PGM2 with main level volume controls.

Comments about Vestax PMC-05-PRO-III-VCA 2-Ch Pro DJ Mixer:
At home, I mostly just scratch and juggle. I really like the smoothness on these faders. However, When I do parties... it really needs to sound clean when using the mic, no matter how good the quality.. the sound is low, stuffy, and creates distortion. Also with only two channels, the line/phono switch needs to have the option to turn phono into line or vice versa like todays traditional mixer. The eq's on each channel are only bass and treble, with no cut. It's sad, because I love the way this mixer feels, but I can't take it on the road with me because of the sound quality. I leave this mixer at home and take my numark d series with the effects which has so much versatility and the sound is actually better but with a cheaper price so if you just want to play at home and make a mix tape while doing your scratching.. its a good mixer, but in a live sound PA its not worth the price.

Comments about Vestax PMC-05-PRO-III-VCA 2-Ch Pro DJ Mixer:
Vestax mixers were my gospel. it is a very good scratch mixer however, when it comes to performance in a professional envoriment, the mic line was extremely distorted and didn't clear up until you yelled into the mike for at least 3 seconds. I've had many problems with this mixer. it replaced my pmc05 pro which one side shorted out after 6 years. all of my friends told me to get Pioneer or Rane but I didn't listen. Now I wised up and I will never purchase a Vestax again. It will embarrass you in a wedding situation.

Comments about Vestax PMC-05-PRO-III-VCA 2-Ch Pro DJ Mixer:
This is one of every scratchers favorite gadgets!!! The fader is like butter!!! Easy to use and doesn't require much maintenance!!! You might have to replace your fader every once in awhile depending on how you treat your mixer! I do not recommend this mixer if you're using more than 2 channels! Perfect for the Turntablist but not good for those mobil dj's using many channels! Excellent Sound, Small & light weight!!! Highly recommendable depending on use!!!
