Vocopro PL2 Nuvoice Plug-On Wireless Transmitter

Do you love the sound of your trusty wired mics too much to upgrade to a new wireless system? With the PL-2 plug-on wireless transmitter system, you can finally go wireless…and keep your wired mics.

Instead of plugging mic cables to the bottom of your mics, you connect the plug-on transmitters, and the mic signals are sent wirelessly to the included receiver. The system operates in the 2.4GHz range, allowing for digital full-spectrum sound.

There are a total of 18 frequencies available and syncing is simple. The transmitters run on rechargeable batteries and can be used with microphones that require phantom power.

If you have been holding off on going wireless because you love your wired mics, hold off no longer and step into the wireless world with the PL-2.

Features:
  • Dual channel receiver design
  • 18 operating frequencies
  • Sync features for quick pairing of transmitters and receiver
  • +48V phantom power compatible with ON/OFF switch
  • Individual volume controls on each transmitter
  • Individual 1/4" outputs
  • Each receiver runs on 2 AA rechargeable batteries (included)

Most wireless mics are available in a range of frequencies. If you are planning on using multiple receivers in your system, call one of our product specialist today to help you choose frequency ranges that won't interfere with each other.

Could you plug these into a mixer's xlr out and use it to make the amp "wireless" or would the mixer out be too "high power" for their input?

BEST ANSWER: It would theoretically work but the signal would be really compressed and it would not sound right. These Vocopro wireless transmitters have a set frequency range designed to accomodate the human voice in the center of the audio frequency spectrum. They will not be able to pick up the bass lows and the treble highs that you need in your audio mix. So no... it will not work correctly. Unfortunately I do not know of any units that we carry that will do that. I am sure they exist but are likely commercial oriented and very expensive. If you have any further questions please feel free to give us a call at 800-945-9300. Thanks.

Good Idea, Bad Size.
Pros: Easy to Install,Long Range
Cons: Feedback,Breaks Easily,Breaks Easy

I run a huge karaoke show. This would be a bad idea for other drunk people to use. If they drop it. The plastic modulators will break instantly. They are very large on a mic. They make the mics looks like a television reporters microphone. They work good by themselves, but cause feedback with other hard wired mics and systems in my board. If this was all you use for wireless mics and are really really careful. They are good!
