I have a voco pro vhf-3000 that i bought in 2008 and i was happy with it for the price i paid. I bought anougher one so i could use my old one as a back up it was the vhf-3005. When i got it i put it in the rack just like my old one was and tryed it out. when i turned it on the red light came on the mic but no green light on the receiver. It did finally come on and it worked good then just as soon as it came on it went off ond didnt work again. I checked the battery and cables and it still did it. It is almost like the signel gets cut out between the mic and receiver like when you get to far away (i was only 3ft from it when i tried it). I'm sending it back.

I use mine to run karaoke & the worst thing that I've seen is that raising & lowering the antennae causes the screws that hold the antennae in to keep loosening, (which interferes w/sound) so I'm always going in there to tighten them up. I'd like this unit better if it didn't have the antennae. Pretty good product for the money you spend. They've been dropped on the floor a few times and still work!
