Will this cable work to connect the subwoofer out (single rca?) on my old Onkyo receiver to my pro audio amp (xlr) to drive a home theater subwoofer?
Matt on Feb 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, this connector is an 1/8" TRS to Dual XLR connector. From what you're telling us, it sounds like you need an RCA connector instead of an 1/8"
Can i connect a pair of Rokit 5 speakers to my MacBook Pro with this?? Speakers are about 2.5 feet apart...will the xlr inputs reach??
Tay on Sep 16, 2010
BEST ANSWER: These come out to about 1.5-2 feet, you might be able to to pull the small membrane apart to get the extra foot. It is important not to pull the outer shield off. look into getting a small interface to get better sound quality.
Im wanting to plug my ipod into a Yamaha EMX512SC power mixer. Would I use this cable ? and do I need to go thru a direct box ? Thank you
null on Jun 14, 2010
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this cable would work, you won't need to run it through a DI box because its a short distance.
Since it appears both XLR connectors carry a stereo signal, is there a Y-cable that goes from 1/8" M to mono left and mono right XLR connectors?

I want to take a stereo signal and split the left and right to 2 powered speakers which can take XLR input.
null on Mar 30, 2010
BEST ANSWER: that connection would be unbalanced and PSSL does not carry that cable.
