Q:
The connection for my mic sounds bad on the new mixer that I have for my laptop, but it sounds good through the old mixer. Can I use this splitter to run the mic through the old mixer without causing damage to the new mixer while both are running?
I am going to use the 'out' from the mixer's to the 'in' on the EQAsked on 9/4/2011 by Anonymous from Flagstaff, AZ1 answer
A:
You can take the output of the old mixer into the new mixer as long as its a dynamic mic. If it's a condenser mic make sure your new mixers phontom power is off. Or you can try a new mic cable and plug it into your new mixer.Answered on 9/6/2011 by Rafael from Cypress CA

The thing you can use is a Y cable. Unfortunately we do not have a splitter box.Answered on 4/8/2011 by Henry from Cypress, CA

Its not appropiate and might cause damage to your mixer. You can split a signal but you can't combine into one.Answered on 6/21/2010 by Jake from Cypress, CA
