Built in the United States, the S215V is designed to provide years of service. High power handling and excellent response have made Club Series loudspeakers the perfect choice for more than 16 years. Whether playing in a band, DJing, orupgrading the sound system at your church or school, the S215V has a rugged carpet covering and steel corner protectors to hold up to the rigors of transport. A heavy arced steel grill offers protection for the woofer.
Features:- Cabinets are constructed of high quality particleboard, chosen for its high strength and elasticity, consistent void free makeup and light weight. Another great benefit of this material is its environmental friendliness. Made from southern yellow pine, this material is both abundant and quickly renewable. Accurate CNC routing machines are used to cut every part, assuring consistency with tolerances of one ten thousandth of an inch. Skilled technicians assemble each cabinet by hand, rejecting any defects. Whether covered in durable carpet or the elastomeric spray coating, heavy steel handles and sturdy pole sockets make moving and positioning easy.
- The drivers, or speakers in these cabinets, are custom made by Eminence Speaker Corporation to Yamaha's exacting tolerances. Woofers share design features like high strength curvilinear cones and Dupont Kapton? voice coil formers. Oxygen-free copper voice coils and oversize strontium ferrite magnets are also used to provide high power handling and long life. The 15inch and 18inch drivers use cast aluminum frames to support the massive magnet structure, eliminate flex and help dissipate heat. The compression driver that generates the high frequency sound uses a pure titanium diaphragm. This 2inch dome is one of the largest in its class, allowing for very high output and low distortion, without the aid of cooling fluids. Its mated to a 90inch x 40inch custom designed CD (constant directivity) horn with excellent dispersion and response.
- Crossover networks that divide the signal going to the woofer and compression driver are constructed with oversized coils, high voltage capacitors, and power resistors designed to provide the best possible sound quality and minimize loss. Overload protection is also included to protect the components.
- Connections are dual Neutrik Speakon jacks for the highest possible strength and current capacity. Two of each connector makes it easy to daisy chain, or add speakers.

I have played three gigs with these speakers i run a yamaha p7000 amp and these speakers are the best i have ever owned.I also run 2 pv 115 800W in 4 ohms they are no match for the s215.All i get is feed back on these s215v peopel think there is a live band every place i do a gig,if i win the $1000 with pssl.com i will buy another one these are the best speakers on the market.

These speakers sound amazing! Since I purchased a pair of S215V's I have simplified my DJ setup because I no longer need to put speakers on stands or hook up a subwoofer. Be advised these speakers are very heavy so bring a dolly and make sure you plug everything into a 20 amp circuit because you will trip a normal 15 amp breaker. I power these with a QSC RMX2450 which puts out 750w per channel @ 4 ohms.

I use these for events with 150 people or anything larger I add a subwoofer. I had blown my b-52's single 15 woofers and was in search of a speaker that had more punch and power soI was looking at the dual woofer cabinets. Testing side by side with Habringer, Jbl JRx series, and peavy's. All of these speakers sounded really good. However, The yamaha sounded like it spreaded wider than the others with a little more crisp. Eventhough it was a little more on price, I know it will be worth it. All the other speakers mention had good bottom sound which was almost all the same. These speakers are loud, but you need a really powerful amp to really let this beast out. And since there is a beast inside this speaker.. make sure you have a dolly to move it around. This thing is heavy.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

well well..thought about getting a pair from recommendations..and when I did..I was actually amazed by the clarity and the protection offered that blown speakers are a thing of the past..the tweeters are just awesome..am thinkin of gettin another pair..am just wonderin how the sw218v perform??

Great deep full sound in any large or small room. I use a pair for smaller rooms four for larger rooms and outdoors. I add a pair of dual 18"subs for very large or outrageous events.

i had this speaker for lyke 4 years And i have atleast 30 pairs of em. i do provide sound for concerts and these speakers create sound lyke the jbl's but u have to tune ur system right otherwise u will have problems definatley grab this while u can... DJ TECH - TWISTED ENT
