Alto Stealth Wireless System for Powered Speakers

Unchain your speakers from the tangled mess that are signal cables, and instead replace them with the incredibly convenient Alto Stealth Wireless system! Establish a reliable wireless connection to your speakers and never worry about running hundreds of feet of cable again. Alto Professional's Stealth Wireless is compatible with all powered PA speakers; enjoy it with JBL EONs, QSC K and KW Series, Alto TS and Black Series, along with many more. Expand your PA system with additional stereo receiver packs for interference-free sound to an unlimited amount of speakers.

Save Time. Save Money.

Enjoy faster setups, quicker teardowns, and eliminate complicated or unsightly cable runs, regardless of the venue. The Stealth Wireless professional audio transmitter system instantly establishes a hardy, unseen connection from the output of your mixer or DJ controller to the inputs of your powered speakers. Your days running and securing cables are a thing of the past. After the show, simply disconnect the system and you're ready to go - who has time to wind up cables?

Everything You Need

This complete, ready-to-use system contains a stereo (2-channel) professional audio transmitter equipped with XLR+1/4" combo inputs to accommodate nearly any type of mixer and most other sources of audio. Also included are two single-channel receivers, each providing a single XLR output. The wireless stereo system also ships with two small XLR cables to connect the receivers into your speakers and for your convenience, the Alto Stealth Wireless system also includes a variety of mounting hardware, used to secure the receivers in place.

It's Easy As 1, 2, 3

Step 1: Connect the transmitter. Plug the main outputs of your audio source (DJ controller, mixer, etc.) into the Stealth Wireless professional audio transmitter, using either the XLR or 1/4" inputs.

Step 2: Connect the receivers. Take the XLR output on the Stealth Wireless Receiver and connect it to the input of your active loudspeaker. Repeat this step for the second receiver.

Step 3: Turn the transmitter on first, and then the receivers.

It's that simple!

Select any one of the 16 reliable UHF channels to minimize interference. The squelch control can be manually set to one of three levels for optimal performance. As you expand, you can continue to implement more and more speakers wirelessly using the Stealth Wireless Expansion Pack.

T. J. on Oct 25, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The Alto Professional Alto Stealth Wireless Active Speaker Wireless System will work with any active or powered system.
Can I use these receivers to run from my sub-mixer outs (stereo) to two house mixer inputs, or would the audio signal be too hot since the receivers must have preamps built in, thereby double preamping the signal before it even hits the mixer input channels?
Bryan A on Nov 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The Stealth Wireless will work in the aforementioned setup. The wireless signal will act as a line level input, so it won't be the same as using a physical cable and doubling the preamp signal.
Are the transmission frequencies fixed or scanable on these units?

FRANCIS M on May 16, 2018

Can an active speaker receiving the signal be daisy chained to another active speaker and maintain quality of sound in both or do each of the speakers need a separate receiver?
Ron W on Jun 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi! Thanks for asking!

The quality of the daisy-chain would depend on the speaker, not the Stealth Wireless. Ideally, there would be a Mix Out or Link Out on the back of one speaker that you could run to the next. That will usually work just fine.

The best option is to connect the receiver to a mixer before going to any speakers, for optimal monitoring and routing options.

Can the transmitter be powered with 230/240V 50 Hz Mains Supply?
Is there a frequency Range that is legal in New Zealand?
Turmit on Mar 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, it appears the Alto Stealth Wireless System runs off of the US Standard 110v exclusively; you would need a transformer of some sort to adapt it to 230/240v.

We don't have access to any comprehensive listing of acceptable frequencies in New Zealand so we can't say for sure what will and won't work over there. Sorry! Alto may have more information on the subject.
I have powered speakers. Can I run two speakers wired and the other two using the Alto by connecting to Alto transmitter to the output of the wired speakers to other two speakers.
Dipper on Mar 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You would go out of the Alto Stealth Receivers into a set of speakers, then run out of those speakers into the wired pair.
Since the transmitter has two input jacks, can I input my mains output into one and my monitor output into the other and transmit on two different frequencies simultaneously? One frequency would transmit to my main amplifiers, the other to my monitor amplifiers.

Alto Stealth Wireless
Unit purchased 8/2015- Excellent concept, tryed units at home and seemed to be great for satellite speakers. In my opinion not great for my main setup. Used at a Reception and was about 50' from Transmitter started getting interference and fading in and out. I changed channel 2 times, did not seem to help so, i just turned it off, about 1.5 hours into reception. It was in line of site and both receiver and transmitter were over the heads of the guest and obstructions. I tryed it the next day ay my house, and seemed to work fine. The very next weekend i was at a different venue and same thing about 2 hours in. same thing this time only 40' away. Once again changed channel and squelch no difference. Halloween I had a party at my house this time 15' away and sure enough it did it again. Technical support with ALTO is terrible. When I call a manufacture for help i do not want the run around. Service after after the sell what a joke...
Suggestion use units right away to make sure yours work to your satisfaction. Not trust worthy in my opinion. They are built to todays standard, cheap plastic. Great idea just not there yet for this item.
I hope this is helpful,

Efficient for Inconvenient Locations
Pros: Efficient
Cons: Unstable

Great for difficult locations (As a mobile DJ, I use them in department stores where there is a lot of foot traffic, but don't want to worry about wires).
The first time, had some issues with drops (was corrected by lowering the squelch).
If the squelch is not adjusted correctly, there can be some issues.

Alto Stealth Wireless System
Pros: Easy and quick to set up,No More Long Xlr Runs,Split Your Sound Source,No More Taping Of Cords

I've been eyeing these units for a long time. Bought a refurbished unit (works perfect). First time out, worked like a charm. One speaker was outside, one in. Had to move it quickly to accommodate movement of audience for dancing. Took less than a minute. No XLR to mess with. You'll also need 2 patch cords from your board to the main unit. (XLR F to M, to either 1/4 or XLR) 3 footers allow you greater placement possibilities for main unit outside of system box. (It has antennas). I'd suggest two items to go with this set up. First, get a short (10ft heavy gauge) extension cord with 3 plugs. You still need to plug speaker power cord and wireless unit into it. Second, get a hum eliminator for each speaker, to cover you if you'll be plugging in away from your main system to eliminate any power hums or dirty power issues. If you've ever had to set up part in or out or on the other side of a doorway, this unit will permanently fix that issue. I had one unit drop signal on high volume. There is a squelch button with 3 settings on each unit to adjust signal, I changed the setting and had no more issues. This was money well spent. My only regret is not getting one prior to this.

First time with wireless speakers
Pros: Simple to use,Good price
Cons: None Upon One Use

Have only used one time so far. Simple to connect. Would have been nice to have had 2 people to find the cleanest channel. Flying solo I had to to a lot of running back and forth, changing channels, repeat, repeat, etc. More planning on my part is needed. All channels I selected (2 or 3) sounded about the same, so I left it on a channel that still had a very low hum. The hum was not a problem at all as it did not adversely affect the overall sound.

the best ever
this is the best product ever….first time i used at a wedding…..i was able to set my speakers anywhere in the room……musics from start to finish……love it.

More than I Expected
Use this for the first time at an outdoor event and it surpassed the 200 foot distance, which I almost doubled. It worked great within the direct line of sight. I found obstructions at greater distances cause the sound to cut in and out. This unit with the extra receivers are far better than running unwanted wires across a venue causing a trip hazard.

Fantastic results.
The Alto wireless system for powered speakers worked flawlessly. It was just what I needed for a room (wedding reception) that was very long and where there was no way to "wire-up" the extension speaker.
I highly recommend this product to all mobile DJ's/Soundmen when cables cannot be used because of location (electricity needed).

Opportunistic & Quality!
Alto is a quality speaker and microphone manufacturer, that has come out with this great wireless stereo system for active loud speakers and this Stealth is complete with a wireless transmitter and 2 wireless receivers. For wireless connectivity that ranges over 100 meters away, this wireless stereo system is an opportunistic offer that should last you for quite a while!

Alto Wireless
Works good with power speakers. Had to use this when I had to set up on different sides of the room. You get a full sound with wires but if you can't this will work good. Be sure to check your setting.
