- Cardioid Control Technology allows output to be steered towards the audience with up to 35 dB reduction on stage when multiple subs are deployed.
- High-efficiency 1300 W Class D power amplifier delivers up to 134 dB peak SPL on the EKX-18SP utilizing high-sensitivity transducers designed and engineered by EV.
- Intelligent thermal management with a variable-speed fan controlled by multiple onboard sensors, ensuring superior performance and reliability in demanding environmental conditions.
- Two XLR outputs for easy system expansion to additional loudspeakers or subwoofers. Large slot ports for low distortion and excellent bass extension. Metal grille reinforcement bar (two on the 18SP). M20 threaded pole mount plate.

Excellent sub
Pros: Attractive Design,Easy to Mount,Easy To Set Up
This sub is amazing. It has alot of settings where you can fine tune your music. The bass can be adjusted so it can drop to different hz.
Bass is clean and loud.
Highly recommended and it's worather the price.

Powerful kick I was looking for
The EV powered 18 sub really kicks. This sub provides all the bass you need. I suggest getting a pair for a full sound. Mine are paired with EKX 12" Powered mains. The best feature EV offers, the menu enables to sync subs with mains for the best sound possible.

I bought a pair of these subwoofers to match my 15" ELX, I am very pleased with the addition of the lower end produced by these boxes, I am thinking of getting another pair of 15" ELX monitors and 18" EKX subs, 2 x 2 for medium events next year......
