Reporting to the General Management, Ecommerce USA, you will be responsible to actively grow the business through creating project-based opportunities in the much-diversified sectors served by Solotech for our office in Huntington Beach, CA. Build relationships thru inbound and outbound sales activities with customers via phone, email, and Chat to secure their immediate and future business. Assists customers in after-the-sale care. Solotech offers its clients an all-in-one technical solution which the candidate will be asked to develop to its full potential.
Your day will look like this:
- Sale and assure the execution of sales projects within the Ecommerce division in different markets
- Evaluate the client’s needs to propose innovative technological solutions, assists them in selecting those best suited to their requirements, by the selection of equipment, design of specific plan and particular labor in order to achieve the customer’s vision
- Collaborate closely with the project management team, to ensure an on budget and on time delivery of the project
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment
- Keep up to date with product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities
- Participate in trade shows if required
- Seek and make recommendations of new products, be informed about new trends in order to identify future opportunities and successfully manage technical aspects
- Ensure follow-up with clients and partners for ongoing projects - solve customer problems and complaints
- Attend sales meetings
Your profile:
- Post-secondary education in administration, marketing, engineering or project management fields or any relevant education
- A minimum of two or three experience in sales with knowledge of the entertainment industry or related transferrable skills
- General expertise in specific fields of sound system, lighting, video and rigging
- Experience in business development
- Working knowledge of current trends in entertainment technology
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Available to work flexible hours
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Demonstrates highly competitive nature and persistence to drive results
- Demonstrated excellent skills for selling and a strong customer service orientation
