The RF signal is tuned by your display’s QAM tuner and is sent over coax, while the simultaneous IP stream is decoded by an IP set-top-box or VLC player. That means that you can send your content to an unlimited number of displays over nearly any distance via RF, as well as stream the content to any notebook, set-top box, digital signage player, or other device on your IP network that can stream an MPEG-2 video.
