1st mic to capture my guitar
Pros: Clear Sound

I've been through countless amounts of mics in all formats, various recording rooms, and used several mic positions; until purchasing this well-priced mic I could never capture the full range of the tone of my guitar amp. Simply setting this mic a few feet in front of my amp in a reflective room and wham: tracks done!

OK [$] Large Condenser
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: Poor Sound Quality

Ok, so I bought one of these thinking it was "incredible for the money" as most people put it.Not the worst LDC I've ever heard but definitely a "[$]" condenser in terms of sonic output. A good buy if this is the first condenser you are planning on getting, and definitely worth the money. I just wouldn't call it the deal of the century.I prefer it over the AKG Perception 100 which falls within the same price range.
