This uint worked twice then went out. Had to send unit to Florida to be fixed . unit has been there two months. they tell me they have bad heaters three so far.

My boss sent me to buy this haze machine for a new nightclub and lounge opening up. We needed to use HAZE not FOG after getting it to the venue, waited 10 min for it to head up, it started fogging the room up, it's basically a fog machine on 1% in front of a powerful blower. After 20 min, there was an atmosphere above us, clouds of fog "haze" I am returning it today. If you want a Martin HAZER, this is NOT it. Get the Martin K1.

Hey peeps!
First, let me start off by saying how much I have enjoyed using Martin products over the years. Their lighting products are second to none, bravo.....ok, now we're done with that. DO NOT buy this machine if you are looking for a true Hazer. This is absolutely no different that a higher end fog machine. Juice smells like fog, looks like fog, disapated like fog, and clouds up like fog. Plus, the machine has to warm up for 6-8 minutes before you can use it....FOG MACHINE!
Very misleading product description via Martin. For the price, the Antari HZ-300 BLOWS THIS AWAY, and comes with built in DMX. Sorry Martin, I'm sure your higher end JEM hazers are the real deal, but the Magnum 2500 "Hazer" is not a hazer at all.
I wish someone had posted an honest review like this before I ordered and paid for this item. Now I have to ship it back, wait for a refund, and get something else. Spend the extra coin on a high end Martin/JEM hazer or go with the DF-50 or LeMaitre, or for the same price as the Magnum 2500, get the Antari........Hope this helps!!

I use the Magnum 2500 for nightclubs and mobile applications where HAZE is required.
I love the storage compartment inside the unit. Allows me to keep the remove and the power cord tucked nice and neat.
Produces a FOG-like spray which is NOT like some of the "real" hazers that are kind of noisy yet provide a "misty" type of invisible partcile curtain in the air. This one still shoots a jet of rather white fog, much more quiet than a large fog machine though and seems to be less dense as well.
PROBLEM: after about 20 minutes of running the unit stops working and the green led starts blinking twice indication a "Fluid-Out Error".
A simple power reset fixes the problem for another 15 to 20 minutes, but this is annoying and unacceptable from something at this price level. The poster before seems to have had a similar issue.
PROBLEM 2:
Have you ever tried to reach phone support for Martin in the US? I don't think it exists! I looked and could not find help, only European contacts were available. I guess I will have to email them and wait for a reply. Nice.

It came with a pinhole leak in the copper tube that feeds into the heater core. Figured it out after I wasted a whole 2.5 gal of pro haze fluid. It made a big mess. Fixed hole with JB Weld. Still don't work like it should. Keeps flashing fluid low even after I have primed it over and over again. I like Martin but not happy with this hazer. Wish I could return it.
