I am a part time DJ who works full time as a IT Manager so I know my computer stuff. I have this board mounted into my cube. I have the USB channels connected to a powered USB hub that is also mounted in my rack and that leaves me with one USB cord going into my laptop. I use VirtualDJ and it is very easy to connect the two sound cards into the two decks of the software. The fact that it has three Mic inputs (1 XLR and 2 .25 inch jacks) makes it especially nice for when I have a rare Karaoke gig that I use this system with. The only two things I wish NuMark would change are:
1) Have the USB channels share with the phonos (most times I am using CD's or Computer. I don't even own turntables.
2) Do not have the third microphone share the same channel as one of the USB channels. This makes it difficult to use that third mic for karaoke (there are work arounds though)
I love this board. I find it very versatile and very easy to use. Deffinate choice for beginners and experts.

I purchased this unit recently due to my old one getting stolen. I figure if its not broke dont fix it, so I searched out this particular mixer cause I had such great luck with it in the past. The USB feature makes this mixer a must have for Dj's using a computer.
