The biaxial 10S/10S-D are high performance 2-way loudspeakers housing a single 10" driver in a bass-reflex enclosure and different HF sections. They are lightweight passive designs using neodymium drivers and large horns for accurate pattern control with rotatable dispersion characteristics of 75° x 50° and 110° x 55° respectively. With their frequency response from 60 Hz to 18 kHz both versions can be used as full range systems and can also be supplemented by different subwoofers from the xS-Series. The enclosures are constructed from marine plywood with an impact resistant black paint finish and are Ball Impact Resistant according to DIN 18032-3 for schools and sports halls. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill backed by an acoustically transparent foam. The top and bottom panels incorporate a pair of M10 threaded inserts, and the rear panel incorporates two M8 threaded inserts, two NL4 connectors as well as a two pole screw terminal block. The loudspeaker cabinets and most accessories are also available with the Special Colour (SC) option that can be executed in all RAL colours, whilst the Weather Resistant (WR) option provides an IP55 rating, and enables operation of loudspeakers in changing ambient conditions.

The 44S is a passive 2-way design housing two 4.5” neodymium LF drivers and two 1.25" HF dome tweeters mounted on a rotatable CD horn thus providing a rotatable dispersion characteristic of 90° x 30°.

The optional d&b Z5427.000 44S back box can be used for flush mounting the loudspeaker into ceilings or walls, either in horizontal or vertical position. The asymmetric cabinet shape of the 44S allows the dispersion to be adjusted +/- 20° in five-degree increments within the back box.

The loudspeaker can be used as a stand-alone system or supplemented by actively driven d&b subwoofers.

The enclosure is injection moulded with an impact resistant paint finish. The front of the cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill. Two M8 threaded inserts are incorporated in the back panel to connect to different rigging accessories. The loudspeaker cabinet and most accessories are also available with the Special Colour (SC) option that can be executed in all RAL colours.

The E15X-SUB is a compact, lightweight, high performance subwoofer for use with d&b E-Series loudspeakers. The built in passive crossover network allows the E15X-SUB to be operated in parallel to E12 or E12-D loudspeakers on the same amplifier channel, greatly extending the low frequency headroom and bandwidth of the systems. Alternatively it can be operated actively driven by its own amplifier channel without the need for any changes to the subwoofer. In Active mode the E15X-SUB can be used to supplement any of the E-Series cabinets. The E15X-SUB cabinet is constructed from marine plywood and has an impact resistant finish, a pair of handles and an M20 threaded flange on the top to accept the d&b loudspeaker stand winder. The loudspeaker cabinet is also available in Special Color (SC) and Weather Resistant (WR) options. The Weather Resistant option provides an IP55 rating, and enables operation of loudspeakers in changing ambient conditions.

The 5D is a Class D installation amplifier with flexible power distribution among its four output channels. It uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to incorporate loudspeaker-specific configurations for smaller loudspeakers from E-Series, xS-Series, xC- and T-Series, as well as equalization and delay functions. A linear setup is available allowing the amplifier to be used as a linear installation power amplifier. The amplifier has a dynamic range of 111 dB (Dante input, unweighted) and is designed to drive a selected range of d&b loudspeakers while providing comprehensive management and protection capabilities.

The d&b Z5405 Flying bracket 10S must only be used in conjunction with the d&b xS-Series loudspeakers 10S/ 10S-D. The bracket can be directly mounted to ceilings or vertically flown and mounted to bars and truss with a tube diameter of up to 70 mm (2.75") using the Z5010 TV spigot and the Z5012 Pipe clamp.

The Z5424 L-mount adapter serves to attach a single 44S cabinet directly to ceilings or floors (e.g. stage lips). It can be also attached to walls or any other suitable surface. The enclosed stick-on rubber pads are intended for temporary (mobile) floor applications to prevent the surface from scratching. Depending on the orientation of the cabinet, the adapter allows for fixed tilt angles of 0° or ± 20°.
