The hardware creates a wireless WIFI DMX network to control DMX lighting fixtures. It is compatible with ADJ WiFLY and Elation Professional E-FLY products. Users may also control non-WiFLY products from the unit’s 3-pin DMX output. Airstream DMX Bridge features ADJ’s 2,500 foot “EXR” extended range wireless DMX transceiver.
ADJ American DJ WiFly EXR Battery Wireless Transceiver A true wireless solution! The ADJ WiFLY EXR Battery is a battery powered wireless DMX transceiver (transmitter/receiver in one) that is compatible with all ADJ WiFLY “EXR” products. After connecting the WiFLY EXR Battery transceiver to a DMX Controller users can send a constant and reliable wireless DMX signal up to 2500 feet to other ADJ WiFLY “EXR” products. This transceiver is backwards compatible with ADJ WiFLY products, however, it will only transmit up to 2500 feet with other “EXR” Extend Range products. The WiFLY EXR Battery has a battery life of up to 20 hours. There are digital battery life and WiFLY wireless signal strength indicators on the side of the unit. Plus, a magnetic bottom plate allows for temporary, quick and easy mounting of the WiFLY EXR Battery transceiver onto a metal lighting fixture or object. The wireless frequency is 2.4 GHz and will coexist in busy RF environments alongside technologies like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
