Non-Contact Multi Linear Sensor
The accuracy of a crossfader relies on how the movement of the fader is detected. Common digital crossfaders use 4 magnetic sensors to detect the fader movement. The CF-X2 has 6 high precision sensors, 3 on each side of the fader shafts, which detects and calculates the movement of the magnet built in to the fader with a highly advanced algorithm.
Upgrade Your VCI-300MKIIThe CF-X2 is the default crossfader for the PMC-05ProIV mixers but can also be installed to VCI-300MKII midi controllers. If you're into serious scratching with the VCI-300MKII, the CF-X2 is the choice to make.
Smooth MovementThe main fader unit is designed with a widely set fulcrum point. This enables the fader to respond accurately to the touch of the users fingers and glide smoothly along the shafts.
Minimum FrictionThe shaft holes of the main fader unit are shaped in an octagram to reduce friction between the fader unit and the shaft. This design also increases the life of the CF-X2 compared to non-digital faders and makes it difficult for dust and dirt to affect the movement.
The shaft on the over hand, is polished in nanolevels providing an ultra smooth movement.
Supreme StabilityIn order to transmit accurate movement and maintain that level at all times, the fader needs to be tightly secured. The metal casing of the CF-X2 stabilizes the movement of the main fader unit and at the same time secures it from external interference.
Anti Bounce Plate (Included)Everyone has a preference when it comes to how the fader clicks. As default the CF-X2 has a metal "bounce". By option users can attaché the Anti Bounce Plate, designed to absorb the force of the fader when it hits the end of the shaft, and stops it precisely where you want it.
Caution:Please note that if you are installing the CF-X2 to a VCI-300mkII, the CF-X2 firmware is required to optimize curve control and cut lag control features.
The firmware update is not required when installing the CF-X2 to a PMC-05ProIV or PMC-05ProIV BLK mixer.
