L-Acoustics LA12X 4-Channel Amplified Controller

System amplifier (class D) with an output power of 4 x 3,300 W RMS into 2.7 or 4 x 2,600 W RMS into 4 ohms, A/D converters and integrated DSP processor. Flexible 4 x 4 matrix with 4 inputs and 4 outputs. Power supply via SMPS (Switched Mode Power Supply) with power factor correction (PFC). Heat dissipation by temperature-controlled fans. SpeakONTM and CA-COM speaker connectors. Ethernet connectors to pass AVB audio and for remote control and monitoring. Analog and digital (AES/EBU) audio inputs with links. Front panel user interface with display. DSP provides IIR and FIR filters, delay adjustments, contour filters, and air absorption compensation filters. Protection against thermal overload and over-excursion. Built-in library with factory presets for all manufacturer's loudspeakers and 10 user memory locations.

Ethernet based control network with up to 1 Gbit/s. Support of digital audio signal transmission via the Milan AVB protocol with seamless redundancy. "Automatic fallback" options from digital to digital or digital to analog. Design of control networks with up to 253 controller power amplifiers in star, daisy chain or hybrid arrangement. The controller power amplifiers and computers in the network are connected via CAT5e U/FTP or higher, with standard RJ45 connectors. The network management software can be run on both Windows and Mac OS X and is designed to include component load, signal levels, limiter activity, overloads, and fault messages. It is also used to manage presets, as well as to adjust input gain, mute, delay correction and filtering. Possible integration into higher-level media control systems by means of software modules.
