Based in Westminster, California and reporting to the Financial Analysis and Planning Manager, the incumbent will be part of Solotech’s finances team. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the fiscal operation and activities of the accounting function for PSSL. Assists in creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help Solotech achieve its objectives. Be an ambassador of our people, our culture, and our core values.

Your day will look like this:

  • Prepare and consolidate financial statements
  • Establish and maintain internal controls
  • Manage all aspects of the general ledger
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end analysis
  • Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Analyze and report cost variances.
  • Lead the intercompany process with multiple entities
  • Provide accounting IT support
  • Review bank reconciliations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the PSSL office for accounting
  • Other duties as assigned

Your profile:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Account (CPA) certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accounting and financial analyst
  • Working knowledge of IFRS
  • Working knowledge of Accumatica ERP a Plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Working knowledge of Power BI
  • Ability to conduct research and possesses analytical skills
  • Rigor and keen attention to detail
  • Accounting knowledge (General entries, month end reconciliation)
  • Flexibility to manage frequent and unforeseen changes
  • Organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities and work under pressure in a context of tight deadlines
  • Be curious in the spirit of wanting to discover problems and resolutions
  • Able to work in short timeframe and under pressure
  • Team spirit and autonomy
  • Be passionate and engaged
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
